What is this?
In the Orders section you see and manage all ticket purchases for your event. Here you keep an overview of buyers, payment status, issued codes and can cancel orders, rebook or resend tickets. On the concert day you scan QR codes for entry.
How to use the order management
- Open the event and go to "Ticketing > Orders".
- See the order list — filtered by status, date or buyer.
- Open an order for details: buyer data, tickets, payment status, receipt number.
- Resend tickets if buyers cannot find their email — with one click.
- Cancel orders if needed — the buyer is automatically informed.
- On the concert day open the app, go to the event and tap "Scan tickets". The camera scans QR codes automatically.
What you can see
- List of all orders with buyer name, ticket count, total amount, status
- Status overview: paid, pending, cancelled, redeemed
- Detail per order: buyer address, seats, QR codes, payment data
- Statistics: sold tickets per category, total revenue, utilization in percent
- Export of the order list as CSV for accounting or guest list
Entry on the concert day
- App scanner on any smartphone — multiple helpers can scan in parallel
- Instant feedback: green (valid), red (invalid or already redeemed)
- Alphabetical guest list as backup for tickets without a smartphone
- Manual entry via receipt number if QR code is not readable
Permission
You need events.edit on the event to manage orders and scan tickets. For pure scanning at the entrance you can give helpers this role short-term — or give them the order list as a printout.
Tips
- Check before the start of sales that all categories and prices are correct — corrections afterwards are more effort.
- Expect cancellation requests shortly before the concert — clarify internally who in the board is responsible for refunds.
- Train several helpers for scanner entry — briefly showing the app on the helper's smartphone is enough.
- Have a backup smartphone charged at the entrance — if a battery drains you have an immediate replacement.
- Analyze the statistics after the concert — utilization, popular categories, lead time distribution help with planning the next concert.
Frequently asked questions
What happens if a buyer loses their ticket?▾
You can resend the ticket from the order overview by email to the buyer. All previous QR codes remain valid — a lost ticket cannot be "copied" by resending, since the code stays the same.
How does entry on the concert day work?▾
With the Chorilo app you scan the QR codes of the tickets at the entrance. The app immediately shows green (valid) or red (invalid / already redeemed). Multiple people can scan in parallel.
Can I cancel an order?▾
Yes. In the order overview you can cancel individual orders — the buyer automatically receives a cancellation confirmation and the money is refunded (less any fees).
