What is this?
With Send reminders you send an additional message to members who have not yet responded to an event or whom you want to nudge specifically. Reminders arrive as a push notification in the app and as an email.
How to send a reminder
- Open the event
- Click "Send reminder" in the participants section
- Choose the recipients: all open, all invited, or individuals
- Optional: add a personal message (for example "please confirm or decline today")
- Send — members immediately get a push notification
Automatic reminders
When creating or editing an event you can enable auto-reminders:
- 24h beforehand to all open — standard recommendation
- 48h beforehand for performances with costume preparation
- In the morning of the event day as the last reminder
- Multiple stages combinable
When to use a manual reminder?
- Important dress rehearsal with low confirmation rate
- Performance with costume requirement — last hint
- Spontaneous addition to the description ("please bring black shoes")
Permission
You need events.edit to send reminders.
Tip
Do not overdo it — three reminders for a standard rehearsal annoy more than they help. Use reminders deliberately for especially important events.
Frequently asked questions
Are reminders sent automatically?▾
Yes, if you enabled them when creating or editing the event. By default 24 hours before the event to all who have not yet responded.
Can I send reminders to specific members?▾
Yes. In the "Send reminders" section you can select individual members or groups — for example only the open responses in the soprano voice.
How often can I remind?▾
Manually as often as you like. But keep in mind that frequent reminders can become annoying — once 24h before and possibly again in the morning is usually enough.
