Event detail view

What is this?

The event detail view bundles all information about a single event on one page. Here you find date and time, venue, description, participant list with status, linked sheet music, comments, tasks and — if active — ticket sales info.

What you see here

• Header area: title, date, time, location, possibly map
• Your status: confirmed, declined or still open — with a large button to change
• Participants: list of all invited members with their current status (Soprano 8/10 confirmed, Alto 5/10, ...)
• Description: what is happening, what will be rehearsed, what to bring
• Sheet music: all linked pieces with a tap to open directly
• Tasks: to-dos for the event (for example bring music stand, wear suit)
• Comments: discussion with other members
• Attachments: PDF, images, other files
• Ticketing: for public performances — sales numbers, orders (for authorized users)

What you can do

Depending on permission:

• Confirm or decline (every member)
• Write a comment (every member)
• Download sheet music (every member)
• Edit attendance of others (with attendance.edit)
• Edit the event (with events.edit)
• Delete the event (with events.delete)
• Scan tickets (in the app, on the event day)
• Check off tasks or create new ones

Mobile app specifics

In the app the detail view is optimized for the fastest action:

• Large confirm button right in the header
• Swipe left for quick actions
• For tickets: QR scanner directly accessible for entry control
• Offline mode: events you have opened once are viewable without internet

Permission

The detail view is available to all members with at least events.view — typically every member. Events you are not invited to are not accessible.

Tip

If you need an event often — for example as choir director the next performance — you can bookmark the URL of the detail view. That way you jump straight in without going through the overview.
