Here you see all your chats at a glance — 1:1 chats with individual members and group chats of your ensemble, sorted by activity.

Open chat
Open a chat from the overview to read the entire history, write new messages or react to existing ones.

Send message
Write a message to a member or a group — directly from the chat, with text, attachments, emojis and automatic push notification.

Edit message
Correct typos or add to a message you already sent in the chat. Edited messages are marked visibly for everyone.

Delete message
Delete one of your own messages in the chat. It disappears for all participants and is replaced by a "Message deleted" hint.

React to message
React with an emoji to a message in chat — faster than a reply and without flooding the chat with short confirmations.

Search user for new chat
Find a member of the ensemble to start a new 1:1 chat — via name search or the member list.

Mute chat
Mute a chat to no longer receive push notifications. The chat stays visible, you can read it at any time.

Create group chat
Create a new group chat for several members — e.g. for a voice section, the board or a working group in your ensemble.

Group chat profile picture
Upload a profile picture for your group chat — e.g. a voice section logo, a group photo or a fitting symbol.

Manage group chat participants
Add new members to a group chat, remove participants no longer active or show the complete participant list.

Edit group chat name
Change the name of an existing group chat — e.g. when the purpose of the group has changed or a clearer name is more fitting.

Appoint admin in group chat
Grant admin rights to additional participants of a group chat — they can then also manage members and change settings.

Delete chat
Delete a chat from your overview — for 1:1 chats only for you, for group chats as admin completely for all participants.

Report chat (moderation)
Report inappropriate content or behavior in a chat to the Chorilo moderation team. Your tip is treated confidentially and reviewed promptly.

Block user in chat
Block a member to no longer receive messages from them. The blocked person no longer sees you in search and cannot message you.
