Download files for the event

What is this?

With Download files you save documents, images or audio files linked to the event locally on your device. That way you have directions, program booklet or stage sketch with you even without an internet connection — important for performances at venues with poor reception.

How to download files

1. Open the event via the event list or the calendar.
2. Scroll to the "Files" section in the event detail.
3. Select the desired file from the list — thumbnails help you orient.
4. Click the download icon next to the file. The file downloads immediately.
5. Or "Download all" for a ZIP with all linked files of the event.

What you can see

• List of all linked files with an icon for the file type
• Preview for images and PDFs (click to open in the browser viewer)
• Size and date of each file
• Who linked the file and when
• Download button per file as well as "Download all" for the entire collection

In the app

• Auto-download loads files for upcoming events in the background — without extra action
• Offline view: downloaded files are accessible in the event even without internet
• Storage usage can be checked in the app settings and old files deleted if needed

Permission

You need the events.view permission on the event. For individual files you additionally need access to the relevant storage folder. If you cannot download a file, you are either missing the event invitation or the folder permission.

Tips

• Download performance files the day before if you do not expect WiFi at the venue.
• Use the app's auto-downloads — you then no longer have to trigger anything manually.
• Check briefly before the performance that directions and stage sketch are on your device.
• Delete old event files in the app regularly if you want to save storage.
• Print important documents like the program booklet or lyrics before the concert if you do not want to rely on your phone's battery.
