Add sheet music to event
Link pieces from the sheet music library to an event — members see the rehearsal or concert list immediately and can practice offline.
Diese Funktion ist nur im Web verfügbar.
What is this?
With Add sheet music you link one or more pieces from your sheet music library to a specific event. Members see the assigned sheet music directly on the event in web and app, can open it, download it and practice offline — ideal preparation for rehearsal or performance.
How to add sheet music
- Open the event via the event list or the calendar.
- Scroll to the "Sheet music" section in the event detail.
- Click "Add sheet music". A selection opens with all pieces from your sheet music library.
- Search or filter by title, composer, category or key.
- Mark one or more pieces via the checkboxes.
- Click "Add". The pieces immediately appear in the sheet music list of the event, all members are notified.
What members then see
- List of linked pieces in the event — in the order you chose
- Direct file access: open PDF, download, practice in the voice trainer
- Push notification: "New sheet music for the event on ..."
- Auto-download in the app, if enabled — pieces are then available without internet too
- Filter "Event sheet music" in the sheet music library that shows only pieces relevant to the next event
Permission
You need the events.edit permission to add sheet music to an event. By default, choir directors, the board and all members with a corresponding permission group have this. Members without it can only see the linked sheet music.
Tips
- Link sheet music early, ideally right when creating the event. Members can then prepare at home.
- Sort the pieces in the desired rehearsal or concert order via drag and drop.
- Add notes per piece — for example "only verse 1+3" or "new tempo".
- Use "Import sheet music" when you need the same selection of pieces as at an earlier event.
- Watch voice rights: pieces only released for certain voices are still visible by title to other members, but they cannot open the file.
