What is this?
With Delete comment you remove a post from the discussion of an event. You can always delete your own comments — others only with special permission.
How to delete
- Open the event → Comments section
- Hover over the comment (web) or long-press (app)
- Choose "Delete" in the menu that appears
- Confirm in the dialog
The comment disappears immediately. Members who already saw it will no longer see it on the next load.
When to delete vs. edit?
- Typo or small addition — edit the comment (possible within 5 minutes)
- Accidentally wrong event — delete and rewrite on the right event
- Discussion escalates — moderate as the board: delete and possibly talk to the member
Permission
- Own comments: every member
- Other people's comments: only with moderation permission (board)
Frequently asked questions
Can I restore deleted comments?▾
No. Deleted comments are permanently removed. If you delete by accident, just rewrite the content.
Can I delete other people's comments?▾
Only if you have moderation permission in the choir (typically the board). Otherwise you can only delete your own comments.
