Permission
Every member can activate their own iCal subscription — no special permission needed. The link is personalized and only shows events you are invited to.
Tips
- Keep the link private — it is essentially like a password
- For multiple choirs subscribe to each separately, that gives a better overview
- Check sync frequency — some apps sync very rarely, this can often be adjusted in the settings
- For short-notice changes additionally check in Chorilo — calendar sync is not in real time
Frequently asked questions
How current is the calendar sync?▾
Depending on the calendar app, every 15 minutes up to several hours. Google updates relatively quickly, Apple and Outlook can take up to 24h. For short-notice changes, better also check in Chorilo.
Are cancelled events also shown?▾
No. The calendar shows only active events. When an event is deleted, it disappears on the next sync.
Can others use my calendar link?▾
Yes, in theory. The link is personalized and should stay private — whoever has it sees all your events. If you suspect misuse, you can reset the link in Chorilo.
Multiple ensembles in one calendar?▾
Yes. Per ensemble there is a separate subscription link. You can subscribe to all of them and display them as separate calendars or merged.
