Select IBAN during bank connection
Pick the correct IBAN after PSD2 login if your bank has multiple accounts. Chorilo links exactly the selected account.
Diese Funktion ist nur im Web verfügbar.
What is this?
When connecting a bank account via PSD2, your bank first asks which accounts Chorilo may read. If your club has several accounts at the same bank — e.g. giro, savings and money market — they all appear in a selection window. With the step Select IBAN you decide which of these accounts to connect in Chorilo.
Per Chorilo account exactly one IBAN is linked. If you have several real accounts, create a separate Chorilo account per account and connect them one after the other.
How to pick the correct IBAN
- Complete the PSD2 login at your bank (in the Connect bank step).
- Chorilo shows a list of all enabled accounts — usually with IBAN, account name and current balance for identification.
- Click the desired IBAN.
- Confirm the choice.
- Chorilo immediately links and fetches the first transactions (usually the last 90 days retroactively).
When the wrong IBAN is shown
Sometimes the list is unclear — e.g. when the bank only partially masks IBANs or the name is ambiguous. In that case:
- Check the current balance of the displayed accounts — that usually helps identify them.
- Compare the IBAN with your last bank statement.
- If the bank has not released the desired account, sign in briefly to your online banking and check the third-party permissions.
Permission
You need cashbook.edit to establish a bank connection and pick an IBAN.
Tips
- Before connecting, set the Chorilo account name with the correct IBAN already — that way you immediately recognize which IBAN to pick.
- For clubs with many accounts, note which Chorilo account belongs to which real account before connecting.
- Right after connecting run a sync and check that the first entries look plausible compared to your real bank account.
