Permission required: Association › Manage

What is this?

In the association settings you maintain the master data of your choir association: name, logo, description, contact address and website. This data is not just internal — it appears for member choirs, interested choirs and on every association announcement you send.

How to edit the settings

  1. Open the Association menu in the header and choose "Settings".
  2. Edit the fields directly in the form: name, description, logo, address, email, website.
  3. Upload a logo by clicking the image at the top and choosing a file.
  4. Save the changes. They take effect immediately — also for member choirs.

Which fields are available

  • Association name — full name, e.g. "Choir Association Lower Saxony-Bremen"
  • Short name / abbreviation — e.g. "CA LSB" for header display
  • Description — brief introduction text for interested choirs
  • Logo — square image for header and announcements
  • Postal address — office of the association
  • Contact email — collection address for inquiries
  • Website — link to the association homepage
  • Legal form — e.g. registered association, foundation, umbrella body

Permission

You need the permission association.manage to edit the association settings. Registered association staff have this.

Tips

  • Keep the description current — it is often the first impression for choirs considering joining.
  • Use a high-resolution logo — it is shown on every association announcement and shapes the visual identity of the association.
  • Enter the contact email carefully — member choirs and interested choirs use it for inquiries outside Chorilo.

Frequently asked questions

Which logo format should I upload?
A square PNG or JPG with transparent background works best — at least 512x512 pixels. It is automatically scaled down for header display, app and announcements.
Can member choirs see the association data?
Yes. The association name, logo and description appear for member choirs in various places — for example in the choir settings, on incoming association announcements and in the association display of the choir.
Can I change the association name later?
Yes, the name can be adjusted at any time. Note though: all member choirs and all previously sent announcements then show the new name — also in archives.
