Receive association announcement

What is this?

When your choir is a member of a choir association, the association regularly sends announcements — for example invitations to conferences, funding calls, bylaw changes or festival announcements. These announcements appear for you exactly like internal choir notifications: in the bell icon in the header and in the Notifications area.

How to read an association announcement

1. You receive a push notification as soon as the association publishes an announcement.
2. Click the bell icon in the header (web) or open the Notifications tab (app).
3. Choose the association announcement in the list — it is usually marked with the association logo.
4. Read the content and open any attached files (PDFs, images) if needed.
5. Mark as read or archive via the actions menu.

Where association announcements appear

• Bell icon in the header — as an entry in the dropdown
• Notifications area in the main menu — separate filter for association announcements
• Mobile app, Notifications tab — filter "Association announcements"
• Email to your address — if email notifications are enabled

Permission

Association announcements are not a permission matter — they reach every member whose choir belongs to the corresponding association automatically. The "Association announcements" toggle in your profile lets you decide whether you receive them.

Tips

• React promptly to registrations — many association announcements contain registration links to conferences or funding programs with deadlines.
• Use the archive — when the board looks for an older association announcement (e.g. fee schedule), you find it in the Notifications area under "Association announcements".
• If you no longer want association announcements, disable them in your profile — the board still receives them and can inform you specifically.
