Choir requests to join an association
Submit a join request from your choir to a choir association. The association reviews and decides — you become a member automatically on approval.

What is this?
If your choir wants to become a member of a choir association, you submit a join request directly from your choir settings. The request goes to the association staff, who review and approve or decline it. On approval, your choir is automatically added — association announcements, membership reporting features and any other association services then become available.
How to submit a request
- Open your choir settings via the main menu.
- Choose the tab "Edit choir" > "Choir association".
- Click "Submit request".
- Search and select the association from the list of available associations.
- Optional: write a short cover note introducing your choir.
- Send the request. The association immediately receives it for review.
- Wait for the response — you receive a push notification and email when a decision is made.
What the association sees
- Your choir master data: name, address, logo
- Member count and voice type
- Your contact persons (board, choir director)
- Optional cover note with introduction
Permission
You need ensemble.edit in your choir to submit a request. Typically the board, management and members with administration permission have it.
Tips
- Talk to the association office before requesting — many associations have admission requirements (voice type, region, fees) that are not represented in Chorilo.
- Complete your choir data before requesting — full address, member count, voice type and board contact make the review easier for the association.
- Be patient with waiting times — association boards often only meet once a month or quarter. A request shortly after a meeting can quickly wait several weeks.
