What is this?

The Member choirs overview shows all choirs that are officially members of your association. For each choir you see master data, member count, membership reporting status and the stored contact persons.

This list is the working basis for most association tasks — from statistics through announcement distribution to dues collection.

How to use the overview

  1. Open Association menu > Ensembles.
  2. Search or filter the list by name, region, reporting status or member count.
  3. Click on a choir to open the detail page with master data and contacts.
  4. Export the list via the actions menu as CSV if you want to process it offline.

What you see per choir

  • Name, logo and address of the choir
  • Number of active members
  • Voice type (e.g. mixed, men, women, children)
  • Contact persons with details (chair, choir director, management)
  • Membership reporting status: reported, pending, overdue
  • Joining date to the association

Permission

You need association.manage to see the member choirs overview. The list is only visible to association staff — other member choirs do not see which other choirs are in the association (unless the association publishes it on its website).

Tips

  • Filter regularly by "reporting overdue" — that way you remind only the few delinquent choirs in a targeted way rather than messaging everyone.
  • Maintain contact data together with the choirs — when a board changes, the choir itself should update its data. Otherwise association announcements reach the wrong people.
  • Use the CSV export for general meetings — a current list with member counts is usually a mandatory part of the agenda.

Frequently asked questions

Can I also see internal data of member choirs, such as events or cashbook?
No. You only see master data — name, address, member count, contacts and membership reporting status. Internal content like events, sheet music, notifications or cashbook stays inside the choirs.
How does a new choir get into this list?
Through a join request. The choir submits a request from its settings, an association staff member reviews and approves it under Association menu > Requests. Only then does the choir appear in the member list.
Can I export member choirs — for example as an Excel list?
Yes. The actions menu at the top right offers a CSV export with master data and member counts. Useful for board meetings and statistics.
