What is this?
The sheet music overview is the central sheet music library of your ensemble. At a glance you see all pieces your choir manages — whether uploaded PDFs, scanned scores, MusicXML files or pieces from the integrated sheet music shop.
The overview shows you:
- Title and composer of each piece
- Category and tags for quick classification
- Voice assignment (soprano, alto, tenor, bass or mixed)
- Available file formats like PDF, MusicXML, audio
- Linked events and last rehearsal
How to use the sheet music overview
- Open the Sheet music area in the main menu. In the app you find the Sheet music tab in the bottom bar.
- Pick a view: list view for many details or tile view for visual scrolling.
- Sort the list by title, composer, date added or last rehearsed.
- Filter or search via the search bar at the top — for example by title, composer, tag or category.
- Tap on a piece to open the detail view with PDF preview, audio, voice trainer and linked events.
What you can do in the overview
- Upload new sheet music via the button at the top right (PDF, MusicXML or image for OMR)
- Assign tags to group pieces by concert, programme, style or your own criteria
- Select multiple pieces at once and tag them together
- Jump straight to the detail page to open, listen to or edit a piece
Permission
To view the sheet music overview you need the sheet_music.view permission. By default every member has it. To upload, edit or delete you need additional rights.
Tips
- Apply tags consistently from the start (such as "Active repertoire", "Summer concert", "Advent concert" alongside "A cappella", "English", "Christmas"). That keeps your library clear even with many pieces.
- Sort by "last rehearsed" to quickly see which pieces have not been worked on for a while.
Frequently asked questions
Who sees which sheet music?▾
By default every member sees all sheet music of the ensembles they belong to. You can assign pieces to specific voices or roles, so that not everyone sees everything.
How many pieces can I store?▾
There is no limit on the number of pieces and no storage cap. Both Chorilo plans (monthly and annual) include unlimited storage — you can upload as many pieces, parts and audio recordings as you need.
Are older or archived pieces shown too?▾
Yes, the overview shows all pieces by default. Use filters and tags to distinguish between active repertoire, rehearsal material and older pieces, without having to delete anything.
