Edit personal data

What is this?

In Personal data you maintain all the master data of your Chorilo account: full name, birthday, postal address, phone number, email address and profile picture. These data apply across choirs — as soon as you change them, they are up to date in all your choirs and associations.

How to edit your data

1. Open the profile through the main menu or the Profile tab in the app.
2. Pick "Personal information".
3. Edit the fields directly in the form.
4. Upload a new profile picture by clicking the current image and selecting a file.
5. Save the changes.

Which fields exist

• First and last name
• Birthday (optional, for birthday reminders)
• Profile picture (square, at least 256x256 px)
• Email address — login and primary notification channel
• Phone number — visible to the board, optional
• Postal address — visible to the board, optional
• Voice/voice part — configurable per choir (see choir settings)

Permission

You can always edit personal data yourself — no special permission needed. Other members can only see your data if their permission group allows it (e.g. the board sees all phone numbers).

Tips

• Set a good profile picture — especially in larger choirs or at association events it makes recognition easier for everyone.
• Do not rush an email change — check beforehand that you have access to the new mailbox. Without the confirmation link the old address stays active.
• Enter your birthday if your choir has birthday reminders enabled — otherwise congratulations pass you by.
• Keep your postal address up to date if your choir sends invitations by mail or issues certificates.
