Decide for yourself whether you want to receive notifications from your choir's association. Board members get them automatically.

What is this?

If your choir is a member of a choir association, the association regularly sends association notifications — for example invitations, funding calls or statute changes. Through the toggle in your profile you decide whether you want to receive these notifications or rather not.

Board members receive association notifications regardless of the toggle — they need the info for their role.

How to enable or disable the subscription

  1. Open the profile through the main menu.
  2. Pick "Association notifications".
  3. Enable or disable the toggle "Receive association notifications".
  4. Save — the change takes effect immediately.

What happens when switching on or off

  • Enabled — you receive push and email for every new association notification. Notifications appear in the bell icon and in the Notifications area.
  • Disabled — you no longer receive new association notifications. Already received ones stay in your archive and remain readable.

Permission

You can always set the toggle yourself — no special permission. Board members cannot disable the toggle because their role requires receiving them.

Tips

  • Active members who rarely need board topics often switch association notifications off — the content is often administrative and uninteresting for active singers.
  • If you are a festival fan or interested in funding calls for your own projects, leave the toggle on — associations often announce high-quality events.
  • Automatically on again when joining the board — when you are elected to the board, association notifications appear at your end again automatically, even if you had previously opted out.

Does the board receive association notifications even without subscribing?
Yes. Board members officially in charge of association topics receive association notifications regardless of the toggle. Other members decide for themselves.
What do I miss if I switch off association notifications?
Invitations to association meetings, funding calls, festival announcements, statute changes — everything coming from the umbrella association. Important things, however, the board will usually pass on internally to all members anyway.
Can I decide per association if my choir is in several?
Currently the toggle is global per Chorilo profile. If your choir is in several associations, the setting applies to all of them together.
