What is this?
The profile overview is your personal account area in Chorilo. Here you manage all settings that do not belong to a single choir but to you as a Chorilo user: your name, photo, email address, password, notification preferences and privacy options.
These settings apply across all your choir memberships. No matter how many choirs you are a member of — your profile is always the same.
How to open your profile
- In the web: click your profile picture at the top right, then "Profile".
- In the app: tap the "Profile" tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- You land in the overview with all profile areas.
What you find in the profile
- Personal information — name, birthday, photo, contact data
- Change password — secure your access
- Notification settings — push, email, frequency
- Association notifications — subscribe or unsubscribe
- Privacy & terms — what Chorilo stores
- Legal — imprint, terms, privacy policy
- Log out — sign out on this device
- Delete account — full deletion in line with GDPR
Permission
The profile is always freely accessible to every Chorilo user — regardless of permissions in individual choirs.
Tips
- Keep your profile up to date — name, email and phone number especially are important so your choir can reach you.
- Use a profile picture — it helps other choir members place you quickly. Especially in larger choirs with many new faces.
- Check your notification settings regularly — they decide how loud Chorilo is for you. Too many push messages are a common cause of frustration.
Frequently asked questions
Are my profile data the same in all my choirs?▾
Yes. Your Chorilo profile is a single account used for all your choir memberships. If you change your name, for example, it applies in all choirs and associations.
Can I have multiple profiles, e.g. for different choirs?▾
No, one profile per person. If you sing in multiple choirs or are an association staffer, you use the same Chorilo account and switch via the choir switcher in the header.
Are my profile data shared with other members?▾
Name, photo and possibly voice are visible to everyone in each choir you are a member of. Sensitive data like phone and email are only visible to members with the corresponding permission (e.g. board).
