What is this?

In the Bank account area you set or change the account to which your sales revenue is transferred. You need a valid IBAN — Chorilo carries out monthly payouts directly to this account.

Without a stored bank account, payouts cannot be made. Revenue continues to accumulate in the balance but is only transferred once the bank data is on file.

How to maintain the bank account

  1. Open the "Payouts" area and click "Bank account".
  2. Enter the following data:
    • Account holder — the exact name as held by the bank
    • IBAN — full international account number
    • BIC — usually filled in automatically based on the IBAN
    • Bank name — filled in automatically
  3. Click "Save".
  4. The data is stored encrypted and used for the next payout.

What you should keep in mind

  • Account holder must exactly match the bank account — otherwise the bank will reject the transfer
  • Check IBAN carefully — a typo delays payouts
  • Changes take effect from the next payout
  • Security: other team members only see the last four digits

When a payout fails

When the bank returns a transfer:

  1. You receive an email notification
  2. The amount stays in the balance
  3. Correct the bank account and the next payout is triggered
  4. For repeated problems, contact support

Permission

Every member of the publisher team has access. For security reasons you only see the last four digits of the IBAN — the full number is only visible once when entering it.

Tips

  • Double-check the IBAN before saving — the order of the digits in particular is critical.
  • Keep the bank account up to date when switching accounts so payouts do not run into the void.
  • With multiple accounts: use a dedicated business account so bookkeeping and tax stay clear.

Frequently asked questions

How secure is my bank data?
Very secure. Your bank data is stored encrypted and only transmitted to the bank for the monthly payout. Other team members only see the last four digits of the IBAN.
Can I change the bank account any time?
Yes. A changed bank account is used from the next payout onwards. Already initiated transfers still go to the old account.
Do foreign bank accounts also work?
Yes, as long as it is a SEPA country. IBANs from EU countries, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein and the UK are supported. Outside SEPA, please contact support.
