What is this?

In the project sheet music area you link pieces from your choir''s music library with the project. So all project members see the entire repertoire at a glance and can open, practice and download the pieces immediately.

The scores are not duplicated but only linked — they stay in the central library.

How to assign sheet music

  1. Open the project and switch to the "Sheet music" tab.
  2. Click "Assign sheet music" or "+ Add piece".
  3. Search for the piece in the library.
  4. Click "Add to project".
  5. Optional: enter project-specific notes — e.g. key changes, cuts or rehearsal hints.
  6. Repeat for all pieces of the program.

What you see in the sheet music list

  • Piece title and composer
  • Key and instrumentation
  • Attachments like PDF scores, audio recordings, practice tracks
  • Project notes — if recorded
  • Quick access to the piece and to practice

What members can do with it

  • Open the piece and download the sheet music
  • Save the PDF offline in the mobile app
  • Listen to audio recordings to sing along
  • Use practice tracks for individual voices

Permission

You need sheet_music.view to see sheet music. To link them you additionally need write permission on the project. Licensed scores are subject to the respective terms of use.

Tips

  • Assign all pieces right at the start so members get a sense of the program.
  • Use project-specific notes for cuts, repeats or key changes — that saves long explanations every rehearsal.
  • Check licenses for external singers — for licensed scores, use outside your own choir may be limited.

Frequently asked questions

Are the scores duplicated or only linked?
Only linked. The scores stay in the central library of your choir and are visible both in the choir and in the project — changes affect both sides.
Can I add project-specific notes or instructions?
Yes. Per assigned piece you can add rehearsal notes, key changes or cuts that only apply to this project.
Do external project members see the sheet music?
Yes, provided the scores are freely licensed or your choir holds the necessary licenses. Licensed scores remain usable within the allowed scope.
