Delete project

What is this?

With Delete project you remove a project permanently along with all related events and member assignments. This action cannot be undone.

The scores themselves remain in your music library — only the project''s link to those scores is removed.

How to delete a project

1. Open the "Projects" area and click the desired project.
2. Pick "Delete project" in the three-dot menu or under "Edit project".
3. Confirm the safety prompt.
4. The project and all events are removed immediately.

Check before deleting

• Attendance statistics — back them up beforehand if relevant for bookkeeping or analysis
• Event notes and attachments — download them beforehand if you want to keep them
• External singers — give them a brief heads-up before the project disappears

Alternative: archive

If you only want to finish but not delete the project, just leave it. You can mark it as completed in "Edit project" — it then stays viewable but no longer appears in the default overview.

Permission

You need projects.delete to delete projects. By default project leads and the board have this permission.

Tips

• Delete only after all evaluations are done — attendance, statistics, reports.
• Use archiving instead when the data might still be needed.
• Save memory photos beforehand into a public album so they remain independently of the project.
