Manage project members

What is this?

In the project members area you manage who takes part in the project. You invite singers, assign them their voice and can remove members when needed — for example when someone cancels.

Projects support three types of members:

• From your choirs — people who are already members of one of your choirs
• From other choirs — if choirs are linked
• External singers — get access only for this project via email invitation

How to manage members

1. Open the project and switch to the "Members" tab.
2. Invite member:
   • From your own choir: pick the person from the list, assign voice, click "Invite"
   • External: enter email address, name and voice, send the invitation
3. Change voice: click on the voice next to a member and pick another
4. Remove member: use the three-dot menu next to the name > "Remove from project"
5. Confirmation: before removal you are asked whether you are sure

What you see in the member list

• Name and photo of the person
• Voice in the project — soprano, alto, tenor, bass
• Invitation status — accepted, pending, declined
• Attendance rate at past project events
• Quick access to the profile page

Permission

You need projects.manage_members to invite and remove members. By default project leads and choir directors have this permission.

Tips

• Invite early — even months in advance so singers can keep the date free.
• Clarify voice distribution before invitation — that way you avoid later redistributions.
• Inform external singers about program and rehearsal schedule so they know what they are signing up for.
