Vote for request

What is this?

With voting you show the Chorilo team and the community which feature requests are important to you. Requests with many votes are preferred by the team for the development roadmap.

Votes are the most important tool to influence new features.

How to vote

1. Open the "New features" area in the main menu.
2. Click the request you are interested in.
3. Press the "Vote" button (usually with an upward arrow or thumbs-up icon).
4. Your vote is counted immediately and the vote counter increases.
5. If you change your mind, click the button again — your vote is removed.

What to keep in mind

• One vote per request — no double votes
• Any number of requests can be supported with a vote
• Votes stay anonymous — no one sees who voted
• Votes can be withdrawn at any time

How your vote influences development

• Top requests with many votes are regularly reviewed by the team
• Number of votes plus feasibility determines priority
• Status updates show you when a request goes into development or is implemented
• Successful implementations are usually celebrated in the newsletter and update log

Permission

No permission required — every Chorilo user with an active account can vote.

Tips

• Vote regularly — also for small improvements that ease your daily life.
• Look at older requests too — sometimes great ideas are still unnoticed.
• Share interesting requests with your choir colleagues — joint votes have more impact.
• Combine voting with comments — a vote plus a concrete example is more convincing than just a vote.
