What is this?
With Delete request you remove a feature request you submitted permanently from the overview. Votes, comments and attachments are lost — there is no recovery.
When deletion makes sense
- Request is resolved — the feature has been solved another way
- You created a better request that replaces the old idea
- You no longer want to pursue the idea
- Submitted by mistake as a duplicate
How to delete a request
- Open the "New features" area and click your request.
- Choose "Delete" in the three-dot menu.
- Confirm the safety prompt.
- The request disappears from the overview immediately.
Alternative: leave it
If the request might still be interesting for others — even if no longer important to you — consider leaving it. Other users can benefit, and the team can keep considering the idea.
Permission
You can only delete your own requests. There is no special permission for it.
Tips
- Only delete when sure — the action cannot be undone.
- For duplicate requests: leave the one with more votes and delete the other.
- If you have concerns that someone else still needs the idea: rather comment briefly "resolved — see solution XY" instead of deleting.
Frequently asked questions
Can I restore a deleted request?▾
No. Deleted requests are permanently removed — including all votes and comments. Think it through carefully.
What happens to votes and comments?▾
Votes disappear with the request. Comments too. People who voted are not notified separately.
Can I delete requests of others?▾
No. You can only delete your own requests. If a request is inappropriate, report it via support — the team checks and deletes if needed.
