Open notification entry
Click a notification in the bell dropdown — you land directly on the original content: event, notification, chat or association announcement.
Diese Funktion ist nur im Web verfügbar.
What is this?
A notification in the bell dropdown is just a teaser — the actual content lies elsewhere, e.g. in events, notifications or chats. With one click on the entry you jump directly to the original content and do not have to navigate via the main menu first.
How to open an entry
- Click the bell icon in the header.
- In the dropdown see the list of your latest notifications.
- Click the desired entry.
- You are forwarded to the respective content:
- Event → event detail page
- Notification → notification detail page
- Chat message → corresponding chat
- Association announcement → association announcement detail
- Comment → the post with comments
- The notification is marked as read.
Which entry types exist
- Events — new events, reminders, attendance updates
- Notifications — new posts or comments
- Chats — new messages in 1:1 or group chats
- Association announcements — messages from the umbrella body
- Sheet music — new sheet music or notes
- System — account and security messages
Permission
You can only open entries whose content you are allowed to see — i.e. for which the respective choir or association gives you permission. If something has changed in the meantime, you see a corresponding message.
Tips
- Use the bell dropdown as a daily overview — that way you quickly jump to wherever something is happening.
- For important notifications read them fully and comment if needed — do not just clear the bell badge and forget.
- If a click does nothing: check your internet connection. Sometimes the call hangs on slow data loading.
