What is this?
With email support you write the Chorilo team a detailed message. Email is especially suitable for complex matters, bugs, attachments and topics where you need a written reply for documentation.
We usually reply within one business day.
How to send a support email
- Click the support button at the bottom right.
- Choose "Email" in the menu.
- A form opens or your email program with the address pre-filled.
- Write a clear subject — e.g. "Problems with ticket dispatch" or "Question about music shop licenses".
- Describe your concern in detail:
- What did you want to do?
- What did you expect?
- What actually happened?
- Attach screenshots if possible — they often say more than a thousand words.
- Name your choir and your role (choir director, member, board).
- Send the email.
What a good support email contains
- Clear subject — what is it about?
- Context — which choir, which role, which area
- Concrete problem — steps to reproduce
- Expected vs. actual behavior
- Screenshots or possibly a screen recording
- Browser/device for technical problems
- Urgency if relevant — e.g. "before important concert next week"
Response times
- Standard: within one business day
- Complex technical topics: 1 to 2 business days
- Emergencies: priority handling — please mark as "urgent"
Permission
No permission required — email support is open to every Chorilo user.
Tips
- Write a bit too much rather than too little — we cannot guess.
- Screenshots show what you see — indispensable especially for UI problems.
- State reproduction steps: "I click X, then Y, then Z happens." — that saves us a lot of detective work.
- Describe urgency honestly — emergencies we really handle with priority.

Which attachments can I send?▾
Screenshots, PDFs, short screen recordings. Up to 10 MB total per email. For larger files upload them to your choir and send us the link.
In which language can I write?▾
German and English are always possible. For other languages (French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian etc.) we gladly try our best — or use translators.
