What is this?

In the Photos area you manage all photo albums of your choir. Here you collect memories from concerts, rehearsal weekends, birthday parties or performance trips — all in one place, well sorted by occasion.

Photo albums can be internal only for members or public on the choir website — perfect for letting prospects and the audience share in the choir''s life.

What you see in the overview

  • All albums of the current choir as a tile gallery
  • Cover photo per album for quick recognition
  • Album title and number of contained photos
  • Creation date and occasion
  • Visibility icon — internal or public

Albums are sorted by creation date, newest first.

What you can do

  • Open album — see all photos, flip through, read descriptions
  • Create new album — for example after a concert or rehearsal weekend
  • Edit album — change title, description, visibility
  • Upload photo — individually or in batches
  • Maintain photo descriptions — tag people or describe the occasion

Permission

  • photo_albums.view — see all albums
  • photo_albums.edit — create, edit albums and upload photos

By default all members see albums. Who manages albums depends on your choir''s permission group configuration.

Tips

  • Create a separate album per occasion — that keeps the overview clear.
  • Publish particularly nice concert albums on the public website to give prospects and the audience a glimpse.
  • Caption photos, especially when people or composers are visible — that increases the value for posterity.

Frequently asked questions

Who can see the photo albums?
By default all members of the choir. Per album you can set separately whether it is only internal, for specific voices or public on the website.
How big can a single photo be?
Up to 25 MB per photo. Larger images are compressed automatically. We recommend JPG or PNG — RAW formats are not supported.
What is the best way to upload photos?
In the web you can drag and drop any number of photos at once into the album. In the mobile app you tap the plus in the album and pick photos from your gallery.
