What is this?

When your group performs a play bought in the shop, a performance fee may apply depending on the author's conditions. With Report performance you report the performance with its ticket revenue and pay the fee directly online. The money goes to the author of the play.

How to report a performance

  1. Open the piece under Sheet music or go to Sheet music > Licenses.
  2. Click Report performance.
  3. Enter the date of the performance.
  4. Optional: venue and number of tickets sold.
  5. Enter the ticket revenue of the performance — Chorilo immediately shows you the expected fee.
  6. Click Report and pay now and complete the payment.

After payment you receive a confirmation and an invoice by email.

The three fee models

The author chooses one of these models per play — the conditions are shown on the piece page in the shop:

  • Fixed amount up to revenue limit: Up to the set limit you pay the fixed amount, above it a percentage of the revenue.
  • Minimum guarantee: You pay the higher amount — fixed amount or percentage of the revenue.
  • Fixed amount plus revenue share: The fixed amount always applies, plus a percentage on revenue above the limit.

Good to know

  • Any member of the group that bought the play can report.
  • Each performance is reported individually — even several shows on the same weekend.
  • The fee is based on the conditions at the time of your report.
  • You find all reports under Sheet music > Licenses for the respective play.
